This policy explains what personal information Haspeople collects, why, and the choices you have. We try to collect only what we need to run the platform well.
1. Information we collect
- Account & profile: your name, photo, phone number or email used to sign in, preferred languages and timezone; for teachers, your profile, qualifications and payout details.
- Identity verification (teachers): the ID documents and selfie you submit for vetting, stored privately and shared only with our review team.
- Bookings & payments:the sessions you book or teach, and payment records. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner, and we don't store them.
- Messages & content: in-app messages and any materials you share in a booking.
- Usage & device: basic analytics and error data to keep the product working and improve it.
2. How we use it

3. Privacy between students and teachers
Students and teachers see only a limited profile of each other and never exchange direct contact details. Communication stays within Haspeople. See our Terms of Service for more.

8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
